Online Mental Health Screening
Mental health screenings are a way to determine if you or someone you care about may need to reach out to a doctor or mental health professional for an evaluation. They are meant to be educational and not a replacement for a comprehensive assessment or diagnosis.
That said, we have found a user friendly online screening offered by Screening for Mental Health, Inc. These online mental health tests screen for Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, as well as a brief screen for Adolescent Depression.
If you or a loved one are suffering from the symptoms of one of these disorders there are options available for you, even if you are uninsured and considered low income. If you are insured please refer to the your insurance provider to see what mental health resources are available to you. These resources are intended for those living in the San Francisco Bay Area.
